Robert F. Newkirk is the CEO/ Founder of Jwahir Enterprises Inc. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering with a minor in Literature. His graduate work at the University of Southern California focused on Systems Management. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force working in the field of test and evaluation for satellite programs, launch vehicles, ground systems, and Special Projects for the Air Force. In forming Jwahir Enterprises, the main focus of the company was on engineering consulting and education for young people in the areas of aviation and aerospace. The Aerospace Flight Academy was created to educate high school students in the Metropolitan Washington DC area on the career possibilities in aviation and engineering. The academy worked in conjunction with the University of DC and Kansas State University- Salina. His test & evaluation background with aircraft modifications, aircraft to hangar interfaces, power and energy distribution, spacecraft environmental testing, flight testing and transient certification, offers the expertise to ensure Jwahir services are paramount for the customer’s needs. He is also a consultant with the MIT Educational Counsel and the MIT Energy Initiative in Cambridge, MA.
